My Journey
Music has been part of my life since fourth grade, and that early spark never faded. What began as a childhood love of music eventually grew into a career built around one simple goal: helping people care for the instruments they love.
After high school, I channeled my drive into entrepreneurship, building and owning a moving company in Northern Indiana. It was there that I discovered my niche — piano moving. Pianos are unlike anything else you'll move: heavy, delicate, and often deeply sentimental. I took specialized courses to master the craft, learning how to handle these instruments with the precision and care they deserve.
In 2024, I earned my bachelor's degree and made the decision to sell my moving business and focus entirely on what I was most passionate about: pianos. That's when Legato Piano Services was born in Hunt Valley, MD.
To deepen my expertise, I attended the Piano Technician Academy and became a Certified Piano Technician (CPT), giving me the skills to not only move pianos safely but tune and repair them with professional precision.
Today, my mission is simple — to provide expert, reliable care for your piano, whether it needs to be moved, tuned, or repaired. Every piano has a story, and I'm honored to help keep yours playing beautifully for years to come.
